Dear Gilles,

thank you for the report and patch.

I have prepared stimfit 0.16.11-3 with your HDF5 2.x fix.

The source package is uploaded to mentors:

https://mentors.debian.net/package/stimfit/

Would it be possible for you to sponsor this upload?

Best,
Christoph

Hi,

During a test rebuild of HDF5's reverse dependencies against HDF5 2.1.0
currently in experimental, stimfit FTBFS because its check on HDF5
version doesn't expect a majot release number > 1.

The attached patch fixes this issue and works with both HDF5 releases
1.14.6 and 2.1.0.

Best,
_g.
