I just uploaded version 0.28.3 to fix this issue. I tried first to update to 0.35.0 and then 0.30.0, but realized that the newer versions need a eth related dependency that was introduced in 0.29.0 and is missing in Debian, so I ended up uploading version 0.28.3 instead.
