I've applied and built dante-server successfully in amdahl.debian.org
(arm64/armhf/armel porterbox), so indeed Chris' patch works! Thanks

I've checked and it at least runs now:

There are some failures but I think they are unrelated to dante-server.
I don't have the time to check now (really need to go to sleep), so my
suggestion would be to upload and see the debci regression tests.
