LTSP clients don't boot with a boot splash, all kernel logs are shown
during boot

Sincerely,
Serhii Horichenko

please try to fix this. Set up a Debian Edu 12 tjener + workstation + ltspserver and check if the problem still exists.

If it does, set up a Debian Edu 12 tjener + another machine with Debian Edu 13 terminal server. Check if the problem still exists.

If it still exists, please look at the iPXE boot configuration in /srv/tftp/. There you should be able to provide the keyword "splash" to the boot prompt that is provided via PXE boot mechanism.

Once you know where to add "splash", investigate scripts in debian-edu-config source package and check where best to provide some code that inserts "splash" into the iPXE boot config.

Thanks!
Mike
