The golang-github-masterzen-xmlpath package ships upstream code from 2014 and appears unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-masterzen-xmlpath The debian/control file says the package is deprecated, and the upstream has moved: https://github.com/masterzen/xmlpath "A mirror of launchpad.net/xmlpath" launchpad.net/xmlpath XPath subset for the Go language. PROJECT MOVED: https://gopkg.in/xmlpath.v1 Thus the namespace has changed and this package shouldn't be used. This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
