I noticed that since the release of 2.140.0 running lintian on
'mariadb' seems to stall and never complete (or take more than 4h).
This is visible in e.g. the 'lintian' job logs at
https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server/-/jobs?name=lintian&kind=BUILD
I can reproduce this locally: running lintian stalls and never
completes. I had to abort it manually with Ctrl+C after waiting for
1h+ hours (I didn't have the patience to wait longer on my laptop).
I tried to debug the run with the commands below but not sure if it is helpful.

Thanks for the bug report. It's definitely not normal and we'll try to
debug this ASAP.
In 2.140 a couple of "big" MRs were merged to work on performance
(spearheaded by Sylvestre Ledru). We also made a relatively large change
by replacing the MLDBM storage. I guess these would be the likely
candidates for this regression?
I'll try to follow up when I find the time to run lintian and debug the
issue further.
