Hmm, I don't know how this snippet belongs to the whole story, but the package (current git state) built fine here locally on a plain sid system, with valid French pdf files for all archs. Maybe this topic is just a warning, without any real impact? BTW: maybe it's worth doing an upload for installation-guide at some time? There is a lot of stuff pending in there...
