It ships a library as well as a "csso" command line tool. It is a dependency of svgo (svgo/lib/style.js requires it), and svgo is what @svgr/plugin-svgo drives -- part of the @svgr toolbox used by the webpack build of the Zotero note editor (ITP #1148540). cssnano's postcss-svgo uses csso as well, so the package is useful beyond that one chain. csso's only runtime dependency is css-tree. Upstream pins it to ~2.2.0 while Debian already ships node-css-tree 3.2.1; I have checked end to end that 3.2.1 produces byte-identical output for the code paths csso and svgo use, so the Debian package relaxes that dependency instead of introducing a second css-tree version. The package therefore needs no source patches. I intend to maintain this package within the Debian JavaScript team. Thanks, Emfox
