Hello, I would naturally love to integrate images with clear licensing. I have personnally absolutely no abilities about it and even placing designing a coherent design identities for the different programming languages is beyond my capacities.
BTW, I'm working seriously on the PLM upstream to revive this project. I'm done with ensuring that the student code executes in a separate process, I'm currently simplifying the templating logic so that the code is less cluttered. I have many many breakages around for now, but I expect a new major release before chrismas. Thanks for your future contribution ;) Mt Le vendredi 02 octobre 2026 à 09:49 +0000, Juan Manuel Méndez Rey a écrit : > Package: plm > Version: 2.9.2-1.1 > Severity: serious > Justification: Policy 2.3 (every file in main needs a known DFSG licence) > > Upstream's own COPYING says the licence of these files is not known: > > * img/lang_c.png, img/lang_java.png, img/lang_javascript.png, > img/lang_python.png, img/lang_ruby.png, img/lang_scala.png: "The logos > of the programming languages are certainly free, even if I didn't dig > for their exact licence." > * src/lessons/sort/pancake/universe/world_pancake.png (and .svg): "It > seems rather free, but the exact license is not known." > * img/world_lesson.png (and .svg): "I cannot remember where it comes > from." > > debian/copyright currently covers them with the GPL-3 catch-all, which is > not what upstream says.
