So, apparently the reason is that `konsole` 25.04.2 from trixie (or, maybe, KIO) can't process a "file:" scheme URL having the host part (like `file://localhost/home/user` instead of `file:///home/user`). `mc` 4.8.32 added the terminal escape sequence OSC 7 to specify the current directory using that scheme. Konsole 26.04.0 works OK. I think it's possible to backport the fix into 25.04, but as of now I have no particular success with that.
