It supports quality of service (QoS) levels 0, 1 and 2, wildcard topic filters, shared subscriptions and TLS connections. . Subscriptions provide bounded message queues, asynchronous iteration and optional manual acknowledgement. Automatic reconnection restores active subscriptions. MQTT 5.0 request/response support matches replies to pending requests using response topics and correlation data. This library is a dependancy of Home Assistant, the Python smart home platform. I plan to maintain it as part of the Home Assistant team.
