Package: man-db
Version: 2.4.3-3
Severity: normal

Hi,

/etc/cron.weekly/man-db sends every week dozens of error messages of the form
mandb: can't open /usr/share/man/man1x/xtrap.1x: No such file or directory
mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man1/xtrapinfo.1x.gz: bad symlink or ROFF `.so'
request

because many package upgrades etc. leave dangling symlinks, resulting in such
error messages.

PLEASE do a
   symlinks -rd

at the beginning of the cron job to get rid of both the symlinks and the
annoying messages.

regards
Hadmut
