This bug is now well over a year old and there is a new version of
gnucash in unstable which uses updated libraries and gnucash code to
support printing.

Could you check in gnucash 2.0.0 or 2.0.1 please?

I also use a network printer via CUPS and I have just printed a
transaction report in gnucash 2.0.1-1 without problems.
