I think this is used unconditionally in gtk/gtkprintoperation-unix.c which is built unconditionally; both in 2.10.1 and in gtk+ HEAD. (I could have tried disabling the file printing backend which also makes some use of cairo_pdf_surface_create(), but this wouldn't be enough.) -- Loïc Minier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
