OK, thanks for the clarification Michael :-) I noticed (with slight concern) apt telling me that my updates were about to remove over 60 MB, which seemed a little unusual. I ended up unpacking the new .deb locally to check nothing vital was missing before I found this report and then went ahead with updating our server. Even though the original issue isn't fixed, I think it would still be worth a note in the changelogs that the CVS directories have been removed, substantially reducing the installed size, just to save others similar concern.
