Package: nvidia-kernel-legacy-source
Version: 1.0.7184-2
Severity: normal

The 'module-assistant' example here:

    % grep -n -A 1 additional
/usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-legacy-source/README.Debian
24:*** An additional method is to use module-assistant
    25-(e.g. module-assistant auto-install nvidia)

...installs the regular 'nvidia-kernel-source' package, which won't work
for an old legacy card. How does one invoke 'm-a' to install the
legacy version?

Also README.Debian is dated recently:

    % ls --time-style=long-iso -og
/usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-legacy-source/README.Debian
    -rw-r--r-- 1 5745 2006-09-21 14:03
/usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-legacy-source/README.Debian

...but is signed in 2004:

    % grep -n 2004 /usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-legacy-source/README.Debian
    171: -- Randall Donald <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Fri, 30 Apr 2004 19:02:04 -0700

Users need docs that are accurate, current, and internally consistent;
this README seems like it's just a copy of the non-legacy README. It'd
be better if it were customized to reflect the differences in the legacy
version.

Hope this helps...
