I'm afraid the package version 2.9.0.2-1 that you mention isn't yet released on
debian...
The last released is 2.8.2-0.2 it's the one I use...
I don't want to break my server by installing a version which isn't even in
unstable or experimental.

I cannot reproduce both of these bugs in the latest package version. It
would really help me if you could check whether it still exists in
package version 2.9.0.2-1.
