I still don't think this is resolved, considering that this isn't just
about the standard library. It's also about irb, ri, and rdoc, and
none of these things has a dummy package in common to pull them all
in. Consequently, ruby-lang.org still feels it necessary to list the
install command as:
% sudo apt-get install ruby irb rdoc

It's been two years since this bug was reported, please implement some
kind of dummy package that can pull in everything. If the ruby source
package isn't the place, then reassign this bug to ruby1.8 and create
a dummy package that pulls in their dummy package.
