the newest mga-vid-source package (NMU) ships a source-archive as well as the extracted sources: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/holbe% dpkg -L mga-vid-source | grep /usr/src /usr/src /usr/src/modules /usr/src/modules/mga-vid /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/mga_vid.c /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/mga_vid.h /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/Makefile /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/debian /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/debian/copyright /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/debian/changelog /usr/src/modules/mga-vid/debian/compat /usr/src/mga-vid.tar.gz [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/holbe% This is redundant (at least the archive-content equals to the shipped files :)), uncommon for module-source-packages which usually ship the archive only and could lead to unexpected builds of the module package, since the build is usually controlled by extracting the archive.
