You are right, it's removed now.

I'm not really convinced if a parsing of that informations should
really go into the program. I know that I had been acting like upstream
for a while and patched around because I wasn't able to get in reach
with upstream - but personally I wouldn't go that path, it's too much of
code needed for too few gain, the -e switch is here for that anyway.
