Hi Kevin, The new version is already packaged and ready for upload. You can find it at http://kirya.net/~julien/pkg-ajaxterm/ (please note the package hasn't yet been reviewed by my sponsor and is still not official). Christoph, may you please check this new version, which hasn't implied lots of changes? I have thus targeted unstable, and not experimental, but I am not sure it is the right choice.
