Whenever you burn something with K3b, does it just hang or are you able to get to the burning log at some point? Also, have you been able to test your version of wodim with gnomebaker to check whether the problem is coming from K3b or wodim? Finally, a new version of wodim was recently released so it might be worth upgrading and testing again in K3b if you haven't done so.
