Perhaps you should include in your package the new patch that is available for
the hostap driver included in the main kernel.

I'm using this hostap patch for 2.6.18. It is easier to apply than the patch
included, and works fine for me.

In fact, aircrack-ng 0.7 will be released soon so I won't made more
changes to the current 0.6.2 package.
Just wait few days, and I'll upload 0.7 into unstable.
