Can you install the experimental version of gstreamer0.10-plugins-base
and see if it makes any difference?
I have recompiled all libraries for AMD64 and now gnome-cd and
soundjuicer work perfectly.
I guess this bug can be closed.
As said in the other bugreport, I am afraid this is something that
should be fixed for etch though...
