I download the kqemu-source. Run sudo m-a build kqemu-source. This builds the deb for the current module just fine. Run sudo m-a install kqemu-source which I assume simply is doing dpkg -i kqemu-module-......deb This fails with an unment dependency on a missing "linux-modules-....." I have no such animal. I compile the kernels using make-kpkg --append-to-version -myextension kernel_image No initrd. Then m-a stuff like realtime-lsm, etc. I can install the kqemu-module.....deb using --force-all or --ignore-dependencies. The resultant .ko will modprobe just fine. However, further apt calls bawk at the unment dependency and I must uninstall the kqemu to procede with any upgrade. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
