I could not reproduce the bug with my Radeon 9200, using these package versions: gv 3.6.2-3 xserver-xorg 7.1.0-11 xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.6.3-2 According to ltrace, the call to XtConfigureWidget with large arguments is slightly different - maybe the behavior of gv has changed a bit, or it depends on something like the window size or display DPI: XtConfigureWidget(0x80c0548, 0, 0, 9929, 51517) = 0 But this is still quite large, and does not trigger a bug... Thus, it appears that we cannot reproduce this bug - hopefully it has been fixed.
