You're right, I'm not using the pre-packaged kernel. I downloaded the source 
from Debian/unstable.

Kernel and e2fsck seems not to understand each other, I don't know if it's 
planned change in the kernel (and e2fsck is a little bit behind) or a simple 
bug in the kernel. If you think I can forward it to the kernel guys.

Shall I forward it to the kernel-developers directly or set this bug report to 
the debian kernel package?
