Hi, Currently: %sbcl: i386 powerpc alpha sparc mips mipsel # %cmucl fork (asm, needs port)
kmr requests: %sbcl: i386 powerpc alpha sparc amd64 With rationale for dropping mipsen, "cache flushing issues". Thiemo, opinion? If Tiemo (or any mipsen porter) advices positively to adding this to Packages-arch-specific, or LaMont thinks it's warranted anyway, please inform this bug (293797) when P-a-s is changed, but don't close it. --Jeroen ----- Forwarded message from "Kevin M. Hi James, I've helped upstream add AMD64 support to the SBCL source package. It's now in the alioth amd64 distribution. Would you please add amd64 to the SBCL entry. Also, upstream sbcl has been broken[1] on mips/mipsel for about 5 months. There are no plans to fix this. Would you remove mips and mipsel from the entry as well? I'll file a bug report against ftp.debian.org to remove the binary packages so that newer versions of sbcl can migrate to testing. Thanks, Kevin [1] Specifically, sbcl seems to have a cache flushing problem on mips/mipsel. So that builds only succeed about 10% of the time. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) ----- End forwarded message ----- -- Jeroen van Wolffelaar [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jeroen.A-Eskwadraat.nl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
