Package: devscripts
Version: 2.10.1
Severity: minor
Hi,
It's pretty hard nowadays to find the qa.debian.org SF redirector; it's
in fact handled directly by uscan:
# Handle sf.net addresses specially
$base =~ s%^http://sf\.net/%http://qa.debian.org/watch/sf.php/%;
It would be nice to support existing URLs, especially the "official"
one, sourceforge.net, and the most common ones, at least
prdownloads.sourceforge.net comes to mind.
I don't know whether it's recommended to use the
http://qa.debian.org/watch/ URL directly or not in watch file, if it's
not, I suppose it would make sense to error out when such URLs are
encountered.
Thanks!
