Well, I don't understand the logic then. Either the goal is 1) to be transparent to users of watch files or 2) to offer a service for users of watch files. In the case of 1), you typically want to handle all possible SF schemes transparently to support most SF.net watch files. In the case of 2), people can simply set the watch file to http://qa.debian.org. I don't understand why we are inbetween. > > I don't know whether it's recommended to use the > > http://qa.debian.org/watch/ URL directly or not in watch file, if it's > > not, I suppose it would make sense to error out when such URLs are > > encountered. > Last time I checked, the documentation on the redirector was a bit > thin, though. Eh, I can't tell whether documentation alone would solve it so I'll trust you on that; for me it should handle all SF.net domains equally or not at all, and I suppose documentation alone could clarify that, but code would have to be changed as well. :) -- Loïc Minier
