I tested the scanner on another computer. At the other computer, Debian "etch" was installed in the same way as on my Notebook. The scanner was configured as on my Notebook. I am surprised: on the other Computer, the scanner works. On my Notebook: The scanner doesn't works. What can i do? I checked the Configuration of the parallel port in the BIOS. On both computers, the parallel port is configured equal. Do you need additional information? Let me know.
