I tested the scanner with the following configuration of the parallel port at my Notebook: - EPP+ECP: scanner DOESN'T work (default configuration in BIOS) - EPP: scanner works - ECP: scanner works I have no idea, why the scanner doesn't work at EPP+ECP. On the desktop computer, the scanner works with EPP+ECP.
