hey jan, thanks for the patch, i've committed it to our trunk. i've recently done something similar for enabling/disabling the suhosin patch, which can be done via passing an extra string to DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS. i might modify your patch a bit in the future so it works the same way, but for the time being i've just put what you sent in there.
