Hi,
the problem only arises when updating from a previous
version. Fuse-utils contains a link
lrwxrwxrwx 1 mrvn mrvn 8 Jun 19 14:43 /usr/share/doc/fuse-utils -> libfuse2
and depends on libfuse2 (= 2.6.5-1). So on a fresh install the
copyright will be there and reachable.
On the other hand, on upgrade, the /usr/share/doc/fuse-utils directory
exists and remains behind in place of the link.
You need to test for the directory in preinst and remove it so dpkg
can place the link there instead.
