Package: xmms
Version: 1.2.10+cvs20050209-2
Severity: normal
Tags: l10n

If the MP3 file has ID3v1 metadata that contains accented characters, it is
not displayed correctly in the playlist and the main window. The id3v1 data
is in UTF-8, locale is UTF-8 and the font is

-microsoft-tahoma-medium-r-normal-*-*-80-*-*-p-*-iso10646-1

The id3v1 tag is displayed correctly when using eg. "id3v2 -l". It is also
displayed correctly in the file information dialog (Ctrl+3).

Two screenshots are attached, with correct and wrong display, respectively.
