It did in fact break and stop installation of clamav-base* with this error: Setting up clamav-base (0.91.2-1) ... cp: target `' is not a directory: No such file or directory dpkg: error processing clamav-base (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 It also happened to someone else : http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?p=96467& In my case it was fixed when I uncommented the #DatabaseDirectory /var/lib/clamav line in clamd.conf However, looking at the postinstall script again, I cannot figure out what could have gone wrong, and why that would fix it... Additionally, I cannot reproduce the error since I do no longer have that original clamd.conf that was in place when it broke... So all I can really tell is that there seemed to be some magic way in which $DatabaseDirectory was not set. *) And all other clamav packages that depend on it, and that caused amavis and postfix to defer all my mail, hence I tagged it serious. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
