Thats correct, this is a different (new) issue with the PPC port of
Mono.

Did you install all debug symbol packages like mono-jit-dbg libmono0-dbg
and mono-dbg before you ran the applications (for making crash logs)?

Could you find any GTK# application that does not crash on PPC? Like
MonoDevelop, gfax, graphmonkey...

Please run one of the application (smallest/simplest application would
be best) with mono --debug -vv, and attach the log again.
