This is now possible by using an external redirector; please see
http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/polipo/manual/External-redirectors.html
Of course, this only pushes back the problem to finding a redirector
that does what you want. And I'm quite open to the idea of an
internal mechanism for that.
