Thanks a lot. While we are at it, since you're using a subversion to maintain the package, what about adding the appropriate Vcs-Svn and Vcs-Browser fields to the debian/control? Indeed my first attempt of "debchekcout luatex" to provide the patch for this bug failed due to the lack of such fields ...
