I know Ondrej only from Debian Python Modules Team. He is working on
scientific Python packages (he graduated in physics) in our team. His
packages are: petsc4py, scipy and sympy (he is also one of upstream
authors of this one) - all of them are well maintained. I didn't have to
do much before uploading, see [1], [2] and [3].

I'm sponsoring all packages that he has in DPMT repository. I will add
dm-upload-allowed field only to packages that are in our repo, not that
I don't trust Ondrej, I just think DM's work should still be controlled.

I just think that Ondrej is one of best skilled non-DD team members [4],
he really knows what he's doing and deserves to have upload rights.

He is using Debian since 2001, I'm sponsoring him since at least half a
year.

Dunno, his AM will check his knowledge more carefully, all I know is
that he can maintain Python packages by himself, specially the scientific
ones.

publicly, and you'll be in big troubles ;-)
