Package: manpages-dev Version: 2.67-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/share/man/man2/listen.2.gz
The listen manpage says: If the backlog argument is greater than the value in /proc/sys/net/somaxconn, then it is silently truncated to that value; the default value in this file is 128. In kernels before 2.4.25, this limit was a hard coded value, SOMAXCONN, with the value 128. However, at least on 2.6.22, this file lives at /proc/sys/net/core/somaxconn. - Josh Triplett -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages manpages-dev depends on: ii manpages 2.67-1 Manual pages about using a GNU/Lin manpages-dev recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
