I just got a Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 scanner. There are times when it tries to send a --threshold option to scanimage when making a color scan. To reproduce this behavior, this would need to be either the first time I run gscan2pdf, or I would have had to set the scanner to lineart mode prior to my previous exit. When gscan2pdf starts, I click the scanner icon. I click the scan options tab, and the mode is Lineart. I change it to color, and a dialog box pops up for a brief moment saying it's changing options. Threshold was set at 0 and remains so. When I go to scan, scanimage gives an error. If I exit gscan2pdf at this point, then restart it, the color mode will still be selected and the application will now show a threshold option in the scan options tab, even if I later change the mode to lineart. What's more, it will make a color scan correctly at this point.
