Package: bip Version: 0.6.1-1~bpo40+1 Severity: wishlist The bip.conf mentions "make cert" as a mean to create the SSL certificate. This is of course not available in the binary package, but even from the source package, make cert doesn't work:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/dist/bip-0.5.3$ make cert make: *** No rule to make target `cert'. Stop. This is after a ./configure. Note that I haven't actually tested this with the 0.6.1 source package, but that's beside the point, there should be instructions on how to generate the certificate or at least on where to put it, which is currently /var/lib/bip/bip.pem Thanks and sorry for the bug flooding.. :) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-686 Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages bip depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-4etch1 SSL shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-23.2etch1 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip bip recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
