Package: gettext Version: 0.16.1-2 Severity: normal autopoint *requires* cvs to run. Suggests should be used for packages which enhance functionality, but are not essential for normal use. However, cvs is essential for autopoint to run at all. Please consider moving cvs to a Recommends or (preferably) Depends, because autopoint really does depend on cvs to run.
A perhaps better solution might be to take CVS support out. I can't see the purpose of it. If it's checking out its own data from CVS, I would ask why we aren't simply distributing it. Or, if it's doing something with the user's own CVS repo, I don't agree with that behaviour.
