tags 307683 +sarge +moreinfo thanks Funnily enough, it builds here just fine without gawk installed. Are you sure you have all of build-essential installed in your chroot, including an awk interpreter (mawk is Priority: required, and thus not listed in b-e but should be present nonetheless)?
