wmnetmon -d -t 2 -y 2 -r 2 and it is running fine (I'm on an amd64 arch, tough). Could you please confirm that both crashing instances had a dead host? Since I'm testing with localhost and another box (both U&R), maybe it's a dead host that crashed wmnetmon. Anyway, I'm going to test with a dead host here too.
