Package: ifupdown-extra
Version: 0.12
Severity: wishlist
In the /etc/default/network-test and each script, "DO_SYSLOG=yes" is
used. This overide environment variable thus unable to do
$ sudo DO_SYSLOG=no ifdown eth0
Why not??
Just replace all the "DO_SYSLOG=yes" with "DO_SYSLOG=${DO_SYSLOG:-yes}",
please.
Maybe other variable should be set the same way. VERBOSE is the good
candidates for this type of scripting.
