Package: synaptic Version: 0.55+cvs20050503-1 Severity: normal Since the last upgrade of synaptic, I have two options for synaptic in my Gnome menu (under 'Applications'->'System'), only one of which actually works (the second bombs with a message that synaptic cannot be found).
The only difference seems to be the command they execute: the working one contains 'gksu -u root /usr/sbin/synaptic', while the second one contains 'synaptic', nothing more.
