Package: jigit Version: 1.16-1 Severity: normal (As discussed on irc..)
u-boot contains a program named mkimage that prepares a kernel image for booting with u-boot. This mkimage is run by the linux kernel build system when it's asked to generate a uImage file. We need to package mkimage so that we can produce kernels that boot on the QNAP Turbostation. I'm planning to call the package uboot-mkimage because "mkimage" is awefully generic for a package name. But it makes sense that the program still be called mkimage, since that's what the kenrel runs. Problem is that jigit contains a mkimage too. Would you consider renaming jigit's mkimage? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- see shy jo
