Also, after some thought, I would be open to allow you to look after future
maintenance of ndiswrapper package; the other packages you maintain that I use
seem to be well taken care of (eg. aufs), plus you also do ndisgtk (of which I
would love to port to QT one day...).

Even if you wanted just to move maintenance to a shared area where we both have
possibility to commit, if that is reasonable. In this case I would not object
changes such as that suggested here on #470774, and mainly make sure a module
is available for latest stable linux.

Please consider.

Additionally, I spoke with ndiswrapper guy (giri) on IRC, and he states that
utils API is unlikely to change anytime soon, but then again, he said release
rate would massively reduce at 1.28, but the made 26 more releases in a
relatively short period...
